Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 May 2026
This privacy notice explains how Mv32 Consulting handles personal data when you visit mv32.com or contact me by email or phone.
Mv32 Consulting is the trading name of Simon Taylor, operating as a sole trader based in Farnborough, Hampshire, United Kingdom. I am the data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website and any consultancy work I undertake.
You can contact me about anything in this notice at simon@mv32.com.
What this website collects
This website has no analytics, no advertising cookies, and no tracking pixels. There are no forms — every call-to-action opens your email client or phone app.
The hosting infrastructure (Lovable, served via Cloudflare) processes standard web server data when you visit any page: your IP address, your browser type and version, the pages you request with timestamps, and the referring URL. This is used for security, abuse detection, and operational logging. It is retained by the hosting providers under their own retention policies.
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When this happens, Google receives your IP address and basic browser metadata. Google's privacy practices are documented at policies.google.com/privacy.
What I collect when you contact me
If you email simon@mv32.com or phone 07835 434393, I process the personal data you provide — your name, contact details, organisation, and the content of our correspondence — for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and, where it leads to an engagement, delivering work for you.
My lawful basis is legitimate interest where you have initiated contact, or the performance of a contract where we have agreed terms of work.
I store this correspondence within my email service provider's infrastructure and standard business tools. I keep it for up to seven years from our last contact, for tax and professional records purposes, and then delete it unless a longer period is required by law.
What I do not do
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with marketing partners.
I do not enrol you in mailing lists without your explicit consent.
I do not feed your information into AI training datasets.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to be told what data I hold about you and to receive a copy of it. You have the right to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased (subject to legal retention requirements), to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email simon@mv32.com. I will respond within one calendar month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. I would prefer the chance to put things right first — please get in touch directly if you can.
ICO registration
Mv32 Consulting is currently pre-trading and not yet processing personal data of clients beyond initial enquiries. ICO registration as a data controller will be completed before client personal data is processed under a data processing agreement.
Changes to this policy
I will update this notice when my circumstances change — for example, when I incorporate as a limited company, register with the ICO, or introduce services that change how I process personal data. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any change.
