GOVERNANCE,IN SERVICE OF PURPOSE.

PurposeSteward is the working demonstration of the IA Framework — a charity governance platform where AI drafts and your trustees approve. Nothing publishes without a named human signing it off.

What it is

Run the charity. Don't be run by it.

PurposeSteward gives charity trustees, volunteers, and staff a single place to run the governance work that keeps an organisation accountable. Meeting reports, projects, and risk — in one connected system, with AI drafting and named humans approving every output. Built modular, so it fits the way your charity actually operates rather than forcing your charity to fit the software.

The modules

Three modules. One connected system.

Core module

Meeting Reports

AI drafts your board minutes, committee reports, KPIs, and consolidated annual review. Co-authors collaborate on shared reports; named approvers sign each one off; the full audit trail is retained. Replaces the email-and-spreadsheet workflow most charities still use.

Light-touch

Projects

A light Gantt and task tracker built for trustees and project teams — not for project managers. External assignees (volunteers without accounts) can update tasks by email. Sub-tasks, dependencies, and status updates without the heaviness of enterprise PM tools.

Visual

Risk Register

A working 5×5 likelihood × impact heat map with RAG scoring, not the forgotten spreadsheet. Both inherent and residual risk tracked. AI-drafted summaries integrate directly into board reports.

How it works

Three principles. One method.

Lean

Three screens cover 90% of daily use. Minimal clicks, maximum clarity. Built for time-poor trustees and volunteers, not for power users.

AI-assisted

AI drafts, summarises, and surfaces what needs attention. Trustees review, edit, and approve. AI never publishes autonomously.

Human-controlled

Every AI output is a draft. Every approval is named and logged. Your charity retains data sovereignty — your data, your tenant, your audit trail.

What PurposeSteward isn't.

A confidence move, not a limitation. We are deliberate about what we choose not to do.

  • Not a replacement for your CRM or membership database — your people, contacts, and rotas stay where they are
  • Not a finance or accounting system — bookkeeping and giving remain in your existing platform
  • Not an autonomous AI tool — every output is a draft, every approval is named
  • Not a managed service — your charity owns the data and the workflow; we help you adopt it and step back
Pricing commitment

Priced for the sector. Locked in for the early backers.

PurposeSteward will launch with transparent, income-banded subscription pricing — small charities pay a small charity's share; larger organisations contribute fairly. Foundation customers who join before public launch lock in their early-access terms for the lifetime of their subscription. No surprise renewals, no pricing review clauses.

Status

Honestly, where we are.

PurposeSteward is in active development. One charity partner is already in early-conversation stage as the founding pilot. The pilot will run through 2026 with terms designed to be generous to the charity in price and generous to MV32 in feedback and case study rights. Pilot terms are not yet agreed; the relationship is being shaped through ongoing conversation.

A second pilot may follow once the first is underway. If you think your charity might be a fit, the early-access list is the right place to start.
